Why birth photography?
Birth is arguably the most life changing moment in a woman's life. As young girls, we watch these scenes of birth as a crazy, overwhelming medical event that happens to us. But the reality is, birth doesn't happen to us. Birth is us and it belongs to us. I have witnessed the most beautiful, transformative exhales at births over and over again. It is time to show the world what it can actually look like. When we share and take in these positive stories, we just may bring back the spark that was always there.
